RePower Home


The RePower effort in Kitsap County began in 2009 with over $7.5 million invested from multiple funding sources at the federal, state and local levels to improve the efficiency of residential and small commercial buildings, in addition to creating jobs in Kitsap County.

RePower was implemented through key partnerships, including Kitsap County, Puget Sound Energy, Cascade Natural Gas Corporation, Puget Sound Cooperative Credit Union, Washington State University Energy Program, Earth Advantage Institute, and Washington State Department of Commerce, Conservation Services Group and numerous contractors in Kitsap County.

Throughout Kitsap County, RePower completed:

The Kitsap County economy benefited as well. RePower delivered more than $8 million in local consumer spending for home energy upgrades.
